Job Summary This position is responsible for functioning as the liaison between Facilities and Operations. This position is also the technical expert for restaurant operators (regional/area directors, store managers), contractors, and equipment vendors for all restaurant maintenance. Key Performance Elements/Essential Functions • Conducts Bi-Annual site inspections for specific geographic region/Concept. • Negotiate and provide QA for all scheduled services (HVAC/refrigeration, exhaust hood cleaning, fire suppression systems, grease trap maintenance, etc.). • Assist restaurant operators in preparing annual capital budgets to insure proper prioritization and scheduling of R&M spending. • Serve as “technical expert” for restaurant managers and area directors concerning repair and maintenance & equipment replacement issues, providing the necessary direction or ownership as required for resolution. • Attract, develop, & monitor regional contractor/vendor base. Work with other RFM’s in same market to leverage those relationships to Brinker’s benefit. • Education of restaurant operators through regular R&M Modules (on site instruction). • Project management for all scheduled R&M. • Project Management of smaller scope remodel projects as needed or determined by concept. Education/Training: • College Degree (Construction management, project management) preferred • 3+years of facilities management experience Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: • Working knowledge in Brinker Facilities, Design, and Operations • Working knowledge on potential contractors and sub-contractors • Computer literate • Working knowledge of specific construction techniques, methods, and practices.
