Resort Assistant Manager -Leavenworth, WA
POSITION SUMMARY: Supports general resort operations by assisting with the management of all resort functional areas and by maintaining resort quality standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include percentage of time spent on each duty/responsibility and categorize from highest to lowest percentage. This is not inclusive of all duties, just the essential functions of the position. Other duties may be assigned. 60 % Oversees the daily operation of all resort departments including, but not limited to: Front Desk, Housekeeping and Maintenance.10 % Produces relevant weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as directed by the Resort Manager.10 % Hires, trains, develops, disciplines, terminates resort staff.10 % Monitors and systematically enhances levels of guest service by designing and implementing related initiatives.10 % Establishes, maintains and complies with company standards, policies and procedures. SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS: Manages 3 -4 subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 20 — 40 resort employees in Housekeeping, Maintenance and Front Desk. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work: appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Indicate minimum requirements necessary for this position. High School diploma 3 years related industry experience with 1 year previous supervisory experience required with High School diploma or 1 year related industry experience including 1 year previous supervisory experience with BA/BS degree.
