Job Summary
There are three primary roles for this unique position, which combines business and technical skill sets; 1) Manage sales and revenue data using Microsoft SQL (2005), VBA, MS Access and MS Excel, 2) develop databases, programs and low end applications to automate sales and revenue audits, analytics, report generation, and report publication, and 3) provide a support role for corporate and property level sales and revenue systems business processes, best practice, analysis, reporting, and system maintenance. Basic Qualifications
-1 year experience with business analytics and data processing such as data management, report development, and data mining-Proven track record of effective multi-tasking in a fast-paced team environment-2 years customer service experience in a corporate environment-Proven experience managing both internal and external customers with high level of diplomacy using a collaborative approach-Proven experience using effective verbal communication and presentation skills to explain detailed instructions to individuals and/or small groups.-Proven ability to manage deadlines and project-oriented workload-2 years proficiency with MS Access, MS Excel or similar reporting applications Preferred Qualifications
- College degree, with course work in business administration.-2 year programming language experience (VBA, VB.net, SQL)-1 year experience developing business analytics with MS Access, MS Excel or similar programs-1 year server-based database development experience (MS SQL (2005))-1 year report development with MS Access, Crystal Reports, MS Reporting Services or similar reporting software-1 year National Sales, hotel or hospitality experience in Sales, Revenue Management, Catering or Meeting services-1 year experience with hospitality technology systems preferred, i.e. DMPE, Global/SFA, CRS, PMS, CRM, OnQ Revenue Management, OnQ Forecast Management and OnQ Rate & Inventory
