Room Service Manager

Oversee day to day operations. Ensure quality and timeliness of room service orders. Hire, train and administrate employees and develop a well trained staff. Recruit, hire and evaluate staff regularly with the Assistance of Human Resources. Adhere to all hotel and food and beverage departmental rules. Keep accurate payroll records and turn in on time. Staff and operate as business demands and schedule accordingly. Ensure a high level of professionalism in the department. Have a comprehensive training program that includes employee meetings at least once per month. Communicate hotel information, events, etc. Ensure accuracy of cash handling, inventory control, proper ringing of all products, and awareness of theft. Be responsible for the profit efficiency of the department in sales, payroll, cost of sales and other expenses. Responsible for profit and loss monthly reports. Adhere to the management by objective program goals. Ensure room service operates efficiently 24 hours a day and that the beverage refreshment center program is efficient as well.

Minimum of two years experience in room service management with high volume, preferred. Basic knowledge of hotel food and beverage and background in supervising. Must have Food Handlers Card.
