SENIOR TECHNICAL ANALYST
Full-Time, Days

In this role, you will analyze technical enhancement requests received from our internal business units to ensure their needs and issues are resolved in a timely fashion. Discussing requested system improvements with end users, you will establish business & data rules, and create project plans.

Duties include leading meetings with business units and development teams and helping identify scope, prioritize and apply the functional requirements. Additionally, you will assist in increasing data integrity, plus warehouse and business intelligence projects.

The Qualified Candidate Possesses:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information SystemsAbility to quickly comprehend business issues/data challenges of an organization, develop specifications to resolve issues and communicate sensitive data with tact Understanding of application programming and database/system designKnowledge of data models/relationships, plus database structures and fundamentalsFamiliarity with data warehousing and reporting environments, as well as Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/service architectures Exceptional communication and problem-solving skillsAt least 5-6 years of proven success as a technical/business analyst or data quality analyst is preferredExperience in Business Objects, Cognos, Micro Strategy or another business intelligence tool is desired Background using Erwin, IBM Informix and SQL is a plus
