Sales Coordinator - Hospitality

Responsible for administrative duties related to sales, booking guest rooms, banquets and meeting rooms and clerical/marketing duties as assigned.  Maintain your focus on WSH Guest satisfaction and proactively do whatever necessary, in accordance with Company policies and procedures, to ensure this is met. Good organizational skills, able to effectively communicate with clients and is detailed-oriented. Energetic, team player who is available, occasionally, for weekend or evening work. Lead by example!

 

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Ø  Complete contracts and sales bids.

Ø  Maintain good rapport with Clients

Ø  Facilitate tours and book reservations as needed

Ø  Completes expense reports, orders supplies, and creates documents, PowerPoint Presentations and reports.

Ø  Communicate to and coordinate with all other hotel departments and personnel to ensure our guests experience excellent service.

Ø  Answers calls, takes messages, schedules appointments; excellent verbal communication skills required.

Ø  Occasionally work weekends or evenings to ensure events are prepared and guest’s needs are met.

 

 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES



Ø  Microsoft office, excellent verbal communication, organized, flexible, upbeat personality. Able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.  

Ø  Know and follow emergency procedures, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), safety precautions and safest work habits

 

 



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ø  Ability to sit for extended periods of time (maximum 5 hours at a time, 8 hours in total/day)

Ø  Ability to work on a computer for extended of time (maximum 5 hours at a time, 8 hours in total/day)

Ø  Ability to speak and hear on a phone within a shared work space

Ø  Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds. (i.e. PC or various equipment)
