Sales Manager

We are looking for a growth seeking, talented and energetic Sales Manager for 103 -rooms Holiday Inn Express North Dallas Region. Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to growing existing key accounts as well as soliciting new business to ensure that revenues meet or exceed budget. Actively solicit via phone, telemarketing, in person to meet targeted goals. Insure ongoing hotel sales of Leisure, Tours & Travel and group segments are achieved through solicitation of organizations, professional market segment associations, travel agents, consortiums etc. on a consistent basis. Know your competitors, their prices, occupancy levels ADR to help maximize hotel REVPAR. Participate in special sales activities, sales promotions, and public relations activities within local market, be visible and involved. Follow-up through customer bookings, communicating special needs with hotel staff in a timely manner. Maintain and promote positive guest relations through personal involvement with guest; interact with guest daily in lobby, at the front desk during peak hours and group check-in. Identify new sources of business as they arise and capture all available room nights (through front desk, personal enquiries, and community awareness)
Handle all sales enquiries as related to weddings, funerals, and special events; produce contracts and ensure proper reservation process. Become proficient with PMS's.  Maintain sales files and client contact list/databases. Work with management to review rate strategy on weekly basis.  Perform other duties as they arise and maybe assigned by the GM
