Key Areas of Responsibility:· Create and maintain leads and target lists for potential new customerso Identify potential target areaso Identify potential hotel targetso Identify sales blitz opportunities· Represent the company during trade shows and other official occasions/events· Represent the company with customers and establish contact with potential leads· Negotiate and prepare contracts with potential customers, taking into account maximum discounts level set by management· Meet account growth targets set by management for the assigned market:o Average of 8 accounts / month o Average of 96 accounts / year· Work with the Director of Sales to complete assigned sales projectso Provide continuous reporting on sales achievedo Help with various projects assigned to the sales teamo Help with market research when necessaryo Help with competitor research when necessary· Work hand-in-hand with Market Managers to create and maintain a win-win relationship with new and current customerso Update all internal systems to properly track potential customer and customer contacts§ Update the CRM with lead information§ Track changes on leads§ Input and update information on customer conversationso Help Market Managers to establish initial contact to new customerso Hand over the contract and all necessary information to the market manager so that they can start training new customerso Liaise with Market Managers during the duration of the contract should there be any contract related issueso Help with up-selling opportunities when new products are being releasedo Help with contractual opportunities should chain or group hotels decide to sign up with more hotelsInteraction: This position has daily interactions with hotels (clients), team members and various critical departments within the organization. In many cases, interactions with both internal and external parties will be at mid and upper management levels. Requirements / Qualifications:· College Degree (BAC + 3) and/or a minimum of 3 years work experience in international hotel, travel or hospitality suppliers ideally in a sales environment· Strong sales, analytical, organization, communication and people skills required.· Working knowledge of hotel revenue/ hotel sales management is preferred.· Team player.· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.· Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies, products and procedures· Ability to work and thrive in a multi-tasked and fast-paced environment.· Professional “get it done” attitude and work ethic.· Fluent in EnglishCritical Competencies:· Relationship building: Builds effective relationships through positive communication that motivates and influences others.
