Sales Representative - Commission Only, Water Bottling

Under the direction of the Sales Manager, the Sales Representative position will entail initiating sales calls, obtaining new accounts, maintaining and developing accounts. Sales Representatives are expected to perform these tasks in approved demographic areas. This position requires effective communication, presentation skills, time management and organization skills.  Arrives at the office on time and is properly suited to conduct outside sales by performing the following duties: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Identifies sales opportunities and presents product information to key decision makers. Able to work independently and achieve sales expectations with minimum supervision. Cold calling to area businesses and residential homes. Makes sales presentations to prospective commercial prospects. Solicits in assigned areas. Meets established sales expectations. Negotiates appropriate pricing and adjustment decisions within established guidelines. Recommends specific types of water and water sizes according to customers’ needs. Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as leads based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet web sites, and other sources. Ability to set appointments through telemarketing techniques. Travels in assigned territory to call on prospective customers to solicit and close orders. Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog to emphasize features and benefits. Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales agreement. Quotes date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of delivery schedule. Attends scheduled sales meetings. Turns in New Customer Agreements to the Sales Manager for review and approval in a timely fashion.
