Salon Operations Manager

Name: DIVASNAILBARLocation: Newbury Street, Boston MAOverview: We are a new high end nail salon opening in June. We are currently hiring staff members including operations manager and technicians. We will offer a wide variety of top of the line services, including massage, manicure, and pedicure, facial, massage, waxing, tailored to our clients needs by a highly trained staff.Specific Tasks and Responsibilities:1) Develop and execute daily and weekly action plans to meet salon performance expectations.2) Provide motivating work environment for staff with high levels of performance and standards being the norm. Communicate policies to ensure compliance and consistently administer corrective action as necessary. Foster communication and teamwork among staff to ensure accomplishment of operational goals.3) Accept responsibility for that may be indirectly related to his/her area of responsibility.4) Works with staff members in order to ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the salon and work areas. Ensure that safe work practices are followed maintaining an overall safe work environment and professional work ethic.Qualifications and Background:1) Must have a track record of being a results-oriented person who has for 3-5 years at a supervisory level.2) Must be effective communicator.3) Must have strong problem solving skills with critical eye for problem recognition.4) Must have effective interpersonal skills with ability to direct, coach, support and delegate to associates.
