Provides analytical support to Avendra's Executive Management, company founders, and other key business groups. This position actively participates in the company's financial planning activities and helps define processes for the financial planning function. The senior financial analyst position reports to the Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. This position will take an active role in the design, implementation, and ongoing refinement of the Cognos Planning forecasting software.

Responsibilities Provide analytical support and analysis to the CEO, CFO, Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, and other senior management. Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, utilizing Cognos Planning tools. Support the development of Avendra''s long range plans and company growth objectives. Participate in establishing business processes for the finance function. Analyze operational results relative to projections. Support in evaluating the impact of potential strategic partners and other customer acquisition initiatives, preparing pro-formas, financial analyses, and valuations. Assist in quantifying savings to customers and value derived from new Avendra programs. Perform ROI analyses for business cases. Perform special projects as assigned.Required Skills



Strong technical financial and analytical skills. Proficiency in spreadsheet and modeling applications. Excellent organizational skills, effectiveness in prioritizing work, ability to multitask, and comfort with ambiguity. Demonstrate ability to interact with senior level management and to work independently. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Cognos Planning a plus.
