This individual will work collaboratively with the Expedia, Inc. business to assist in its becoming the World’s largest & most intelligent travel marketplace. The individual will identify, facilitate & drive value creation across the organization & within Finance.ResponsibilitiesThis position will report to the VP of Finance Strategy and will perform a variety of tasks, project in nature, including but not limited to:•Work with business stakeholders to identify value add solutions to existing business problems•Manipulate complex data to help to draw conclusions about an aspect of the business•Develop processes to make Finance / POS more efficient•Implement cross Finance/POS team initiatives •Envisage world class efficiency reporting & roll out standards across Expedia, Inc.•Ability to identify & understand big picture problems, quantitatively & qualitatively, make appropriate recommendations & solve as appropriate•Identify strategic opportunities for the business, often beyond its traditional scope•Other activities as appropriateQualifications•10+ years financial analysis experience in a fast paced, changing environment•MBA preferred or equivalent experience•Understanding of E-Commerce or Travel or Marketing expertise•Highly logical problem solving & strong analytical skill set•Proven success in owning, driving and executing complex analysis, process and reporting projects that involve coordination with multiple departments or businesses•Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization•Experience providing financial guidance across multiple facets of the business•Strong qualitative and quantitative financial skills•Extremely organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
