Senior Vice President of Finance

ResortQuest Hawaii (RQH), a subsidiary of Interval International manages 26 hotels and condominium resorts throughout Hawaii with an inventory of 5,000 rooms featuring a wide range of choices and amenities to serve the needs of every visitor. This Hawaii-based company employs 1,500 associates on the islands of Oahu, Maui, Kauai and the Island of Hawaii with its corporate headquarters in Waikiki. We are searching for the ideal candidate as Senior Vice President of Finance.  He/She is primarily responsible for overseeing all financial and fiscal management of the Hawaii region by providing leadership in directing financial strategy and all activities in preparing corporate budgets, accounting operations, financial reporting and audit functions.  Also oversees Information Technology Services, Administration, Central Office Services, Telephone and Condo Administration departments.  Other responsibilities include:

 

¨ Works closely with President and senior management as a member of the executive committee

¨ Oversees the accounting function (general ledger, receivables/credit, payables and payroll), directs the preparation of all corporate entity operating/capital budgets and financial reports and ensures records systems are maintained in accordance with accepted auditing standards

¨ Completes and submits financial and other reports to Interval/IAC. 

¨ Analyzes cash flow, cost controls and expenses guidelines with senior management.  Analyzes financial statements to identify problem areas and reviews contracts for potential exposure.

¨ Studies long term economic trends and directs financial strategies

¨ Develops and implements finance, accounting and auditing procedures.  Establishes and maintains appropriate internal control safeguards.

¨ Provides Financial information to owners.

¨ Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

Requirements:

 

¨Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or

¨Bachelor's degree with equivalent additional experience
