Responsible, Accountable Shift Leaders.
At Rubio's, Shift Leaders are responsible and accountable for supervising and supporting productive and profitable restaurant operations. This includes providing great guest service, delivering exceptional food quality, and ensuring Team Member efficiency, safety and security.


Dedicated and Collaborative.
A successful Shift Leader is dedicated to meeting the needs of Rubio's guests, creating a climate in which Team Members want to do their best, and is seen as a team player who has the ability to find common ground with peers and direct reports.


Essential Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
Interacting with guests, staff and management.
Opening and/or closing the restaurant according to Rubio's standards by supervising Team Member performance including setup, food preparation and cleaning.
Ensuring Team Members follow all Company safety policies.
Completing financial paperwork on a daily basis.
