We've built a world-class architecture to power large volumes of users in a real-time 24x7 environment. We need you to build the testing tools and technologies to ensure the best experience for our customers. Responsibilities:Software Development Engineers in Test are responsible for developing automated test tools and harness creation, working closely with developers, program managers and test engineers. SDETs are also responsible for owning projects and testing features. Testing skills and knowledge will be required to perform component and integrated level testing, and to assess automated test tool needs.You will participate during all aspects of the product lifecycle, from spec to ship. Qualifications:• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is required and minimum 3 years related experience. • Object oriented design and debugging skills as well as the ability to generate a robust suite of test cases and perform thorough algorithm verification. • Deep understanding of object oriented programming. Must be proficient in one of the following: C++; C#; Java. Strong knowledge of SQL. • Ability to write near production-quality code. Previous experience writing tools and harnesses a plus.• Proven familiarity of test methodology. Experience with writing automation. • Excellent analytical problem solving skills- solid core algorithmic understanding.• Ability to understand and translate functional requirements/specifications into working test plan and/or test cases as required. • Ability to read and understand data models and relational databases. • Excellent problem solving and strong communication skills. • Ability to prioritize and work independently as well as in a team environment..
