JOB DESCRIPTION

The Anchorage Sheraton is looking for a professional and experienced Spa Director to open and establish a luxury 5k square foot spa operation at their newly remodeled Sheraton Hotel located in Anchorage, Alaska. The "Ice Spa" is scheduled to open Summer 2008. The ideal candidate will understand the need for personalized services for our discerning guests.

Responsibilities will include carrying out all pre-opening and opening procedures, recruiting, training and overseeing the development of the staff, designing and implementing new treatments, and creating effective promotions. Candidate will also be responsible for the financial success of the spa, focusing attention on guest service, building the local market, and creating and implementing marketing strategies for the spas future growth.

The successful candidate will have at least 2-4 years resort/hotel spa management experience. Previous experience with Spa openings a benefit. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate the team a must.
