Essential Functions: Ensure the completion of all bi-weekly payroll processing and monthly, quarterly, yearly financial and tax reporting. Identify and integrate best practices in work flow, measurement, technologies and resource configuration and sourcing applicable to HGVC processes. Ascertain applicable internal controls and compliance, with Federal and State regulations for direct area of responsibility. Ensure all Payroll records are kept in accordance with applicable federal and state laws. Research and implement industry best practices for Payroll processing. Full responsibility for building high performance teams that will provide exceptional service to internal and external customers. This includes recruitment, ongoing training, educating, mentoring, developing bench strength and succession planning. Direct and provide support to all corporate payroll staff as directed by HHC. Research new technology applications and potential improvements to HGVC Payroll processes. Experience with PeopleSoft ERP software or equivalent ERP System required. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS Positions directly reporting to this position (titles): (this may vary based upon the size of the location) · Payroll Manager · Payroll Rep I, II, III · Payroll Accountant SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. · Excellent written and oral communication skills Job Requirements : Job Requirements: QUALIFICATION STANDARDS 5 to 7 years of payroll experience required. Minimum 2 years experience in Payroll Management position managing a +100 million multi-state payroll. Experience with PeopleSoft payroll software required. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail is critical. 5 years managing a staff of 10 or more people preferred.
