Sr. Network & Security Specialist

Role:  The Senior Network and Security Specialist will manage networking systems, monitor and maintain security of ReserveAmerica’s technical operations. Responsibilities:   Manage local and remote network connectivity Manage networking servers, backup servers, and other application servers Support data center operations Create and maintain corporate security policy and procedure Review security requirement of industry standard (PCI) and government contract (C&A) Identify security risk and review it with management Recommend changes or setup new solutions to enhance system security Organize resources from multiple departments to resolve security issue in operations Respond to security incident Coordinate internal and external security audit Support daily operation of networking issues Maintain network servers Troubleshoot telecom issues Upgrade network systems and servers Implement new network solutions Support external clients Create and maintain security policy and procedure Maintain system inventory and security documentation Review user management and access permission Track security patches and upgrade systems Perform security scan Setup security monitoring system Review security and system logs Create security report Troubleshoot systems that are not operational, determine source of problem and solution Work with technical staff and vendors to resolve technical problems Qualifications:  Four-year technical degree or equivalent experience Expert experience working with hardware, software, and security settings of workstations Expert knowledge of Windows server and Linux Operating System and security settings Expert knowledge of managing networking hardware, such as, router, switch, DSU/CSU, modem pool, Expert knowledge of supporting switching and routing protocols Expert knowledge of securing data communications and network applications Expert knowledge of managing network security products, such as, firewall, VPN appliance, IPS, Radius, RSA, MARS, etc. Expert experience of supporting data center operations and production systems Knowledgeable in common infrastructure design, system administration, and database operations Expert experience of using security scan and audit tools (nessus, MARS, snort) Expert technical troubleshooting experience Demonstrated self-starter and demonstrated ability to independently resolve problems Ability to perform effectively in a fast paced environment with short timelines and set deadlines Ability to maintain a professional and courteous manner in difficult situations Ability to maintain high quality work to manage multiple critical projects Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of technology staffs and management Ability to perform and participate in a team oriented environment Good communication and writing skills Good customer service skillsWORKING CONDITIONSOvertime required occasionally, possible off site duties on occasion.Ability to work on an on-call basis when required.Open office environment  Ticketmaster is committed to creating a diverse work environment and proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
