O./ Sales Closer Summary: Position Purpose: The TO’s job is to motivate, coach, challenge and assist the sales team in closing vacation sales to qualified guests. Essential Job Functions: · Responsible for coaching and assisting representatives in closing sales and improving their sales techniques. · Responsible for taking over a sales call when a representative cannot successfully close the sales without assistance. · Assist in creating and maintaining an upbeat, positive and motivating work environment. · Conduct or assist in performing daily motivational sales meetings. · Maintain a professional, upbeat, positive and motivated demeanor when interacting with Hilton prospects, coworkers and managers. · Look up tour and room availability when needed. · Look up Hilton Honors information when needed. · Be available to verify open and dated packages for agents · Provide telemarketing manager with ongoing feedback when proper qualification by the sales representative has not occurred. · Monitor sales representatives to assist them in closing sales. · Coach representatives, giving them input on how to increase sales. · Qualify guests when doing a T.O. · Take over calls when a representative cannot handle an irate customer or when the customer requests to speak with a manger. · Seek the direction and authorization of the telemarketing manager when needing an exception in closing a sale. · Disclose accurately, the information pertaining to the timeshare presentation. · Perform all the job functions of an outbound sales representative when not assigned to T.O. by the telemarketing manager. (T.O.’s may be asked to go back on the telephone and sell at any time and for any reason.) Job Requirements : Qualification Standards: · Minimum of High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 3 months related experience and / or training. · Minimum 1 year Telemarketing experience. · Acceptable attendance includes arriving to work on time and staying until the end of the shift. · The ability to close at least 51% of all sales calls that are taken over (T.O.’d).
