Travel Agent/Customer Service Rep

The WWTE Agent will be primarily responsible for receiving both service and sales calls for various WWTE travel partners providing customer service and maximizing sales opportunities.  This position may be required to becomes specialized in one or more WWTE travel partner’s product. Position Description:·  Provide exemplary customer service on calls involving product inquiries, questions, general information, changes to existing reservations and directing escalated calls to the appropriate department  ·  Receive calls and work to effectively generate sales by researching rates and travel packages that are most appealing to customer’s needs  ·  Provide outstanding customer experience by communicating product information and up sell enhancements.·  Information customer about WWTE policies, reiterate legal scripts, and maintain departmental quality standards ·  Use internal tools and resources to resolve the customer’s situation on the first call to include tracking and reporting types of calls and service issues ·  Escalate customer concerns to Tier II, Leads or Supervisors as appropriate·  Use various administrative tools to for customer service and sales·  May be specialized to include Sam’s Club Cruise responsibilities Minimum Requirements:· Must have 1-3 years experience in a call center customer service or sales role· Must have 1-3 years in a role which utilized consultation skills and effective listening skills · Must have experience that utilized problem-solving and decision-making to effectively handle lower-level customer service issues · Must have excellent oral and written communication skills· Must be able to deliver exceptional customer service using principles of CEM· Must be detailed, organized and an effective time manager· Must have experience utilizing prioritization skills and handling multiple customer priorities.· Pass skills assessments · Pass background and credit check.  Preferred Skills:· Prior travel industry experience and a good knowledge of geography· Must have proven ability working with;  knowledge of MS Word and Excel Since 1946, Spherion has been helping talented individuals find rewarding job opportunities that drive excellence in their career.
