Travel Agent - Redmond, WA

 JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for making travel arrangements for Worldmark owners, including, car rentals, hotel reservations, airfare and Worldmark Condominium reservations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:.  This is not inclusive of all duties, just the essential functions of the position.  Other duties may be assigned.  Book airfare, car and hotel reservations for Owners, making recommendations, and finding the best available fares. Book Worldmark resort reservations for Owners in conjunction with their travel arrangements. Take incoming calls, maintaining an appropriate call volume in keeping with the standards for the department. Document all records with required information. Make callbacks and follow-up in a timely manner. Make seat assignments. Work schedule changes, and advise passengers of new itinerary, according to Department procedures. SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are a representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities necessary to perform these duties successfully.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.  Good understanding of Apollo/Focalpoint computer reservations system Knowledge and understanding of airline tariffs, regulations  and policies Extensive knowledge of destinations throughout the world Knowledge of WorldMark resorts and WorldMark reservation system Attention to detail, thoroughness, accuracy and follow up Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Ability to work in a fast paced environment Professional customer service skills Possess problem-solving skills Strong team player Maintain positive attitude Strong organizational skills Self-motivated Skilled at using a PC, and knowledgeable of Microsoft office applications. Consistently meet department standards in sales volume, customer service, attendance, reliability and team interaction.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 1 year customer service experience, preferable in a call center environment. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or GED.
