Vacation Rental Manager

Essential Functions - Hire, train, direct, and lead all vacation rental department associates to achieve goals and objectives set forth by General Manager. 

Maximize reveneue by maintaining rate integrity, analyzing demand patterns, creating public awarness at the local level.  Establish and maintain yield management and inventory control.

Establish and maintain internet contracts and develop both domestic and international contracts.  Research, implement, and maintain property management softward system, which is best suitable for rental program needs.  Develop and maintain procedures and guidelines for owner accounting, equalization of owner revenue, cost accounting, travel agent commissions, and credit/collections. Maximize profits for Owners and vacation rental program.  Maintain and exceed guest expectation this creating repeat business.  Provide leadership to a diverse group of people.  Handle multiple tasks and to function well under pressure.  Formulate objectives, standards and procedures.  Maintain highest level of attention to detail.  Work proactively, anticipating needs of members, guests, employees, peers and superiors.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Challenges of this position - must be available to work long hours including nights and weekends.  Consistantly maintain positive relationships with guests and owners.
