POSITION AVAILABLE WEB PROJECT MANAGER

 

Our dynamic Internet marketing firm is looking for an experienced Web Project Manager with a passion for the travel industry and the Internet.  The position will be responsible for managing the execution of Internet development projects from conception through delivery. It is the role of the Project Manager to perform/ oversee the following duties: Project Planning, Documentation, Billing, Manage Budget, Resource allocations, Client Point-of-Contact, and Delivery.

 

HIGHLIGHTS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

-Manage multiple projects/client accounts

-Report all project status to Internal Executive Team and Client Services department on daily basis

-Posses comprehensive knowledge of project strategy and purpose

-Realize and allocate suitable timeframes to perform routine tasks

-Supervise and maintain project schedules

-Establish and maintain billable work hours/ budgets for projects

-Plan project deliverable dates, dates of client meetings, etc.

-Recognize and Manage client expectations; ensure client expectations are met

-Modify plans to satisfy client specifications

-Develop Project Briefs and maintain all documentation thru the project cycle (Daily Status -Reports, Conference Meeting Note, Client Change Orders and Client Approval Forms)

-Coordinate team, in accordance with the project plan at start of project

-Supervise team utilization

-Daily interaction with the client (via email, phone calls and in-person) through the durations of the project

-Assemble informal daily check-ins with the team members

-Perform final assessment of work before delivery to client

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

-At least 2-5 years experience managing large scale technical projects from conception to completion

-Proficiency with MS Project as well as other project management tools

-Capability of writing technical documents that encompass requirement documents and technical specifications

-Basic Understanding of SQL, Java, systems integration, HTML, DHTML and database configuration

-Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook PowerPoint)

-General Knowledge of the Website Design Specification
