Must be a certified Oracle Database Administrator, capable of developing logical data models and converting them into physical database designs for various RDBMS. Utilize Data Dictionary/Repository technology for Metadata Management. Must be able to administer Oracle in an AIX/Sun Solaris/Windows environment as well as Microsoft SQL Server. Develop and maintain incremental, full, online/offline backup and recovery scripts for OLTP and OLAP environments. Design and implement Extraction, Transformation, and Load process for Data Warehouse from legacy and transaction processing systems. As part of a team Data Analysts, consultant will tune and reorganize database objects to avoid fragmentation, and obtain optimal database performance. Must be adept at gathering customer requirements to implement databases, and maintain standards and infrastructure. Experience managing environment for Oracle Application Server 10g and Discoverer 10g also required.
