ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

A premier boutique Brokerage firm is searching to hire an Account Executive to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment, assisting affluent clients in addressing their financial and life protection needs through life insurance, disability insurance, long-term care and annuities.  Focus will be on directly supporting sales force in the generation and implementation of new business.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ø Design and suggest appropriate solutions for specific client situation

Ø Prepare proposals and spreadsheets

Ø Prepare applications for client completion and signature

Ø Manage the new business process from proposal to placement of policies

Ø Follow-up on outstanding requirements

Ø Scheduling and monitoring medical exams, attending physician statements, financial documentations, etc.

Ø Assisting with policy renewals and clients service/support as needed.

 

·AE will speak with the client and formulate the insurance solutions that are most appropriate. As the AE understands the products better, there will be cross-selling opportunities using other company's product lines.

·  Supervise multiple cases weekly

·  Determine appropriate carrier and appropriate funding strategy.

·  Assess the medical and financial risk of clients seeking insurance coverage.

·  Order and evaluate Medical Exams, Records, EKG’s, and Inspection Reports to underwrite and evaluate.

·  Shop cases to suitable insurance carriers and GA’s with competitive premium rates/underwriting profile.

·  Follow cases through underwriting

Act as the primary case manager / point of contact to continue the client’s relationship with the Company's Benefits department.

Salary: 85K
