ACCOUNTING CLERK III

This position is responsible for system validation, preparing reports, and creating invoices for various insurance products. The position requires good communication skills via email and sometimes by phone with external and internal clients. To be successful, the individual must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.

KRA 1 – System Validation & Reporting – 20%
Validate system reports and notify users.
Create various monthly reports.
Prepare overdue & exception reports.
Identify report errors and take active role in resolution

KRA 2 – Invoicing & Cash Receipts – 40%
Prepare and send invoices for various products.
Follow up on outstanding invoices.
Communicate invoicing and system issues to Account Managers and IT.


KRA 3 – Financial Statements – 10%
Complete journal entries and reconciliations

KRA 4 – Admin, Development, & Training – 20%
Monitor incoming messages to the Accounting mailbox.
Maintain desk procedures.
Complete courses and development initiatives.

KRA 5 – Accounts Payable – 10%
Serve as back-up for Accounts Payable and Licensing

1-2 years Accounting Clerk experience.
High School Diploma. College degree preferred.
Strong mathematical, analytical, and computer skills.
Effective written and verbal communication
Access database experience a plus.
Peoplesoft experience a plus.
Leasing or Insurance Industry experience a plus.
