This position is located at the Hartford Customer Service Group in Fort Washington PA.  Our Customer Contact Center supports Sales and Service Operations for AARP Health, providing premier healthcare products for people 50 years of age and older.

 

 WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?
 The candidate will be expected to focus on the administration and development for configuration management but will also work with other ALM processes and tools. They need experience thinking outside the box, while maintaining discipline and diligence to the ALM processes. They will have the opportunity to work closely with the development, environment, quality assurance and business teams. Specific responsibilities for this position include:Facilitate Change Management Product Boards. Negotiate and manage release schedules. Provide administrative and technical support for ALM tools and processes. Develop and support documented procedures and workflows. Design and implement new ALM processes. Definition and provision of continuous improvement of processes and procedures based on industry practices. Develop and conduct End-user training. Serve as an advocate for best practices for processes, tools and user disciplines. Champion process improvement changes.WHAT QUALIFICATIONS ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Qualified candidates will have the following requirements:3-5 years of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) development/configuration experience with ALM tools and applications (ex. Change/configuration Management, Requirements Management, Project Portfolio Management…etc) Solid knowledge of software build, configuration management, release, and deployment processes Experience with configuration management products (ex. Serena Dimensions, IBM Rational ClearCase/ClearQuest or similar products) Strong background in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio) Understands and can promote effective process disciplines Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate both large and small groups Strong organizational and negotiating skills Ability to reconcile organizational needs and sell process improvements Effective problem solving skills Ability to work independently, balance multiple tasks and effectively manage time Advanced written and oral communications skills Education: 4 year degree in information technology fields and/or computer science WHAT IS THE COMPENSATION OPPORTUNITY?  At the Hartford, our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay competitive base salaries and reward performance. The base salary for this position ranges from $61,000 to $82,000.
