If you would like to apply your skills and experience to create health-care solutions, consider the following position: Job Summary: This entry level position ensures the appropriate processing of transactions that are critical to the operations of the Premera group of companies. Responsible for financial processes such as cash receipts or vendor invoice processing for Premera Blue Cross and its subsidiaries. He/she exhibits a commitment to excellence, initiative, innovation, adaptability, and teamwork. Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for processing and balancing system entries, reconciling source data to reports, analyzing and resolving variances while ensuring daily production deadlines are achieved. 2. Ensures GL account coding is appropriate. 3. Assists with the creation of desk procedures. 4. Cross trains within the department to backup and support team members. 5. Provides support for internal and external audits. 6. Supports various departments throughout the company on customer inquiries. 7. Identifies opportunities for process improvement or to gain efficiencies. 8. Working knowledge of applicable Finance policies. 9. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: 1. High school diploma or equivalent certificate. 2. Two years office experience in a high volume production area. 3. Commitment to and understanding of the demands of a production environment. 4. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. 5. Ability to work independently. 6. Effective communication (verbal & written) and customer service skills. 7. Strong knowledge of PC applications and 10 key by touch. Additional Qualifications Preferred: 1. AA degree 2. Experience in PeopleSoft or similar application. 3.
