This individual will have project management responsibility for executing strategic compliance projects as requested by the Global Compliance and Business Ethics Officer. This individual will provide project management to meet quality, schedule, milestone, and budget commitments. In addition, this individual will manage project expectations, scope, risk and changes; provide issue identifications and resolution; provide a work plan at the required level of detail which indicates the key dependencies, resources, the time-frame for completion of the project and the key deliverables within it. This individual will also have responsibility for identifying global, regional and local regulatory compliance risks and for establishing procedures and policies to mitigate such risks. Responsibilities Lead project team(s) in the development and implementation of strategic projects related to global compliance and business ethics Develop & maintain project documentation, including charters and scoping, measures of success, project plans, weekly status reports, and issue tracking/escalation/resolution Lead and document business requirements gathering efforts Liaise with technology, legal, and business organizations to ensure engagement and project progress Facilitate team meetings and work sessions Communicate regularly in accordance with agreed upon communications plan Assessing and analyzing compliance risk and development of policies and procedures to mitigate risk.Qualifications 5+ years experience leading medium to large cross-functional projects Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic development environment Strong ability to identify, understanding and communicating business needs for technical projects Strong analytical skills; ability to influence change and drive results Experience in understanding and communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience Excellent written/verbal skills Ability to interact well with senior management; strong presentation skills Strong knowledge of MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word required Knowledge of PeopleSoft or Genius systems helpful, but not necessary Experience in the Insurance industry and/or compliance CPM or PMP certification a plus Six Sigma, Process Improvement and or SDLC certification(s) a plus Operations or underwriting background a plus Finance certifications, compliance certifications or background a plusACE Limited (NYSE: ACE), the Bermuda-based holding company of the ACE Group of Companies, is one of the worlds leading insurance and reinsurance organizations, with 2006 gross premiums written of $17.4 billion and net premiums written of $12.0 billion.
