Account Manager, Personal Lines

Our client is a large, independent insurance agency well established along the West Coast.  They offer broad risk management solutions and has membership in several prestigious independent agency associations.  Their personal lines division is growing and they seek an experienced account manager to join their team. This position involves servicing existing business, coordinating renewals, and selling new policies which come by through the agency's larger commercial division.

 

Account Manager ResponsibilitiesOversee the marketing of renewals and the preparation of new business accountsWork closely with a service team to identify and solve coverage issuesCoordinate the sale of new business accounts through referrals to the department



Account Manager Qualifications3+ years experience as a customer service representative or account manager with an insurance agencyBroad personal lines knowledge including homeowners, auto, and umbrella policiesUnderstanding of high net worth policies through carriers like Chubb, Hartford, Fireman's Fund, and AIGProblem solver with strong communication and written skillsConsultant role with clients including identifying coverage needs, writing new policies, and cross selling with the P&C department
