We currently have openings in Personal Lines, Commercial Lines and Corporate Finance. Placement will be determined throughout the interview process. Actuarial Assistants prepare and maintain complex models, analyze results, make recommendations, and implement changes to our products and processes. They compile and ensure the accuracy of data, organize information for effectiveness, and collaborate with professionals in various disciplines. Responsibilities may include ratemaking, reserving, reinsurance, and/or forecasting. Extensive training is provided through one-on-one interaction with experienced credentialed actuaries and peers. Bachelors degree or comparable work experience, excellent analytical ability and strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates must be comfortable working both independently and in a team environment, and have strong multi-tasking abilities. Well-developed programming skills are preferred, and prior insurance experience is a plus. Must have successfully passed 1 or more Actuarial exams and have 2 years work experience.
