Actuarial Consultant

Major Duties and Functions Include: This position will handle various aspects of product development. Pricing and risk analysis will be the major focus, but responsibilities will also include facilitating administrative implementation. Develop, maintain and update new business financial models in TAS and possibly MoSes and/or APL. Use APL to assist in the pricing of new life products. Analyze projected earnings and work with Product Management and others to appropriately balance earnings and profitability. Perform analysis and modeling for support of various SEC requirements Assist in developing stochastic models for pricing guaranteed benefits, in conjunction with ALM unit Assist in developing pricing models for riders and innovative product features Provide actuarial support to IT to facilitate implementation of new life products Support life illustration systems Provide actuarial support for state filings Summarize, document, and communicate pricing results Provide actuarial assistance for quality inforce management and policyholder services Provide actuarial support to IT for administrative system migration. What You Need to Succeed: Bachelors Degree required. 0+ years of experience is preferred Strong technical skills High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines Knowledge of APL is highly desirable Life product, pricing and actuarial knowledge is highly desirable Strong communication skills and people skills Knowledge of TAS is a plus, but not a requirement Work shouldn’t be something you do just to make ends meet.
