Responsibilities

Responsibilities include working with the client to assess damages and control of loss; providing assistance in determining the extent of coverage afforded under the insurance policy; negotiating claim settlements; and engaging consultants to assist in restoration, salvage and loss measurement.

 

Qualifications

This is an entry-level position.  Formalized training, including, office and field-based training will be provided.  This position requires a four-year college degree in engineering, other applicable discipline, or equivalent experience.  In addition, two years experience within another FM Global business segment, or equivalent, is preferred.  Strong communications and interpersonal skills, along with excellent planning and organization skills are necessary.  Approximately 30% travel, some with short notice, can be expected.
