Administrative Assistant II
To provide administrative support to an Officer or Senior Manager and the department. To act as a liaison within the division.
1.Assists Department Management by coordinating office services, such as personnel, records control, special management studies, budget preparation and control, travel arrangements, conferences and meetings, etc.
2.Assists with projects as assigned.
3.Conducts research and prepares statistical records and reports as directed or scheduled. Files and retrieves corporation documents, records, and reports.
4.Maintains departmental information and records. Maintains departmental supplies and equipment.
5.Obtains and conveys information, sometimes of a confidential nature to/from other departments, divisions and offices. Coordinates information flow internally and externally.
6.Composes and types correspondences; reviews and answers correspondence as directed.
7.Analyzes operating practices and procedures. Interprets administrative and operating policies and procedures for employees.
ASSOCIATED RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Performs other duties as directed.
2.May have to travel 1-2 times per year.
High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred.
3-5 years of work related experience in a corporate environment.
Typing – approximately 60 wpm
Proficient supervisory skills
Excellent knowledge of all software applications
Excellent oral/written communication skills
