With our strong capital base, financial stability, diversified earnings stream and multinational operating platform, we offer an excellent opportunity for your future growth and development.Details of this great opportunity follow:Summary:This position is responsible for supporting property management and the property underwriting department in detailed administrative duties as assigned.Minimum Responsibilities: • Perform executive secretarial duties including handling of correspondence, and other office administration functions. • Office administration work including preparation of presentation materials (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.), maintenance of databases, supply requisitions, correspondence and other office administrative functions.• Scheduling and organizing complex activities such as meetings, travel, conferences and department activities for all members of the department.• Analyze and prepare a variety of data and reports. • Maintain a professional relationship with customers and other business contacts.• Communicate with third parties to confirm or obtain data or authorizations or needed service operations.• Perform special projects as assigned. Minimum Requirements: • Successful completion of a college level curriculum or a minimum 3-5 years experience in administrative /secretarial support role. • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft programs including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Access. • Demonstrated quantitative and/or finance skills required. • Ability to relate with all levels of management both inside and outside the organization.• Proven ability to work independently, exercise good judgment and use of effective decision making skills required. • Ability to establish credibility and confidence with customers, third party organizations, and internal management. • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and support a team of professionals.• Demonstrated initiative as evidenced by ability to self-manage, organize, and prioritize work with minimal direction. • Must be able to handle multiple tasks within tight timeframes.ACE Limited (NYSE: ACE), the Bermuda-based holding company of the ACE Group of Companies, is one of the worlds leading insurance and reinsurance organizations, with 2006 gross premiums written of $17.4 billion and net premiums written of $12.0 billion.
