Administrator of Sales and Marketing

Job Purpose:

To provide administration of sales and marketing processes for new and existing clients.  Provide ongoing oversight of contracts and amendments .

We are an insurance agency specializing in employee benefits for governmental entities throughout the state of Minnesota.


Duties:

* Administer bid and proposal activity.Contact insurance companies for online proposals and pricing.  Evaluate competing  proposals and provide comparison spreadsheets.

* Work with sales team to develop presentations for client.

* Coordinate administration of new sales by providing initial enrollment materials, assisting in completion of master application, reviewing and submitting enrollment forms to insurance companies.  Monitor status throughout issuing process, verify contract language and terms and confirm contract delivery.

* Coordinate marketing strategies and materials. Assist in developing overall marketing plan for agency growth including an annual marketing schedule and long-term goals.



* Administer contract amendment process for existing clients, reviewing for accuracy.



* Assist with customer service phone calls.  Communication with clients is an essential element of this position.



* Maintain professional knowledge and meet licensing requirements by attending continuing education courses.

* Contribute to team effort through idea-sharing and communication.

Skills/Qualifications:

 Organizational, Management and Communication Skills.   Microsoft Office and Reporting Skills.  Life and A&H insurance underwriting and/or contract administration helpful.  Candidate must be available to begin on June 2, 2008.
