Responsibilities:Primarily responsible for the design, build, testing, and deployment of Policy Print releases and modificationsCreate and maintain standards and best practices for Policy components and digital outputOn-time completion of analysis, design, programming, testing, and implementation of modifications as well as software/hardware upgradesManage the functional, data, and business rules required in a projectCode enhancements to existing systems and interfaces as well as new development.  Projects range from small to large and complex Develop or modify moderately complex software application modules and subsystems using disciplined software development processesProvide technical support to other staff membersProvide support for production print systems

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

Desired SkillsProven knowledge and successful utilization of the following programming languages or software technologies:COBOL XML, orUNIX Scripting

Experience developing in personalized high-volume document composition solution and distributed output tool.Ability to work and communicate effectively on large project teamsExperience in XML development Experience working on NT, UNIX and MVS platformsStrong understanding of the system/software/application development lifecycle Experience with integration using messaging middlewareExperience developing in the PolicyLink and Lifecomm administration systemsExperience maintaining and supporting Docucorp DocumergeExperience supporting a Gunther finishing machine
