Premera Blue Cross is looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer to join a dynamic team to support its call center and imaging specific applications in its Spokane, WA location. While using enterprise class hardware you’ll play a part managing quality monitoring, workforce management, imaging systems in addition to other call center applications. At Premera, our mission to ‘provide peace of mind to our members’ drives us to operate at five 9’s availability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background at the enterprise level, and experience with the following: VoIP, troubleshooting performance bottlenecks, multiple OS, working with multiple vendors including, HP and Cisco. ITIL knowledge and experience a must. Requirements: BS/BA degree in related field such as Information Systems, technical certification, or equivalent work experience. MCP and/or MCSE. 5 years of industry-related experience which includes moderately to highly complex technical responsibilities, specifically: Server Administration experience on a windows 2003 active directory platform and utilizing group policy to deploy application packages. Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills, hardware troubleshooting skills and strong customer service skills.
