Major Duties and Functions Include: *** THIS IS A WORK FROM HOME POSITION LOCATED IN SALT LAKE CITY, UT *** Facilitates homeowner property damage claim process by appraising damage. Receives claims assignments from Dispatch Specialist. Contacts customer to set up appointment to inspect property damage. Prepares cost estimate for damage repair. Documents damage with photographs. Reviews and applies coverages, deductibles, and exclusions. Negotiates settlement; issues payments to claimants for repair. Negotiates with general contractors to reach agreed repair costs. Provides supplementary estimates when necessary. Performs other related duties as assigned or required. What You Need to Succeed: 3-5 years homeowner's appraisal experience. Clean driving record.
