Architect (.Net or Java)

Our client is looking for an experienced Architect to join their team in Alpharetta for a 6 month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a great technical environment, creating next generation applications from the ground up. This position is hands-on, while being in a leadership role. In this role, this position will be involved in creating complex applications with multi-threading programming, application tuning, designing and building frameworks, and enterprise patterns. Please contact if interested.  Typical Minimum Experience: Years: 5 – 10 or equivalent expertise • Deep experience developing enterprise solutions using all aspects of an object oriented language (such as Java, C#), web services, multi-threaded programming, application tuning, designing and building frameworks, enterprise patterns, VSS, Oracle database design and development, XML, XSLT, XML Schema, experience with EAI and moving information throughout an enterprise using service oriented approaches, UML, and web application design and development. • Experience operating in an architect or senior developer role on enterprise wide development projects. • Strong development and team leadership experience. • Strong commitment to customer service. • Outstanding negotiation, organizational, creative, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills. • Strategic consulting experience is desirable. • Experience with Business Rules Engines (Such as Pega PRPC), Data Power, WebSphere MQ, and J2EE desirable.  Company: Modis, Inc.
