Assistant Vice President - Casualty

ECC Insurance Brokers, Inc is an independent Commercial Insurance Wholesaler, specializing in providing independent agents superior expertise, access and service for those hard to place or unusual liability lines.

 

ECC seeks an experienced, hard working individual.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

 Solicitation of applications for renewal book of business consisting of General Liability, Products Liability and Umbrella Liability.Process endorsements on book of General Liability, Products Liability and Umbrella Liability business.Manage and coordinate marketing process/activity for new/renewal business.Work with broker on daily submission flow.Work with retail agents for quote generation and customer service issues.Work with insurance carriers to secure quotations.Prepare insurance proposals for broker’s review.Maintain effective, productive relationships with retail agents/brokers; carriers and other ECC business units.Continue to grow knowledge base through continuing education classes.

 

Qualifications include:1-2 + years of General Liability, Products Liability and Umbrella Liability experience.Strong customer service, communication, organization and time management skills.Computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).Good technical knowledge of CGL/Products and Umbrella coverage provisions. Underwriting background or broker experience a major plus.Completed CPCU courses a plus.Illinois P& C License required.
