Allstate was founded in 1931 and became a publicly traded company in 1993.The purpose of the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Department is: To lead the development of integrated consumer communications that build Allstate brand preference  To drive brand consistency across all media based on Allstate brand standards and guidelines, and  To deliver those communications with operational excellence.The IMC Department partners with the other areas of Marketing to ensure communications and sponsorship initiatives are strategically aligned against business goals and objectives.   The scope of this job is:  This position requires an individual who can creatively and efficiently assist with the implementation of Allstate's National sponsorships, including Motorsports, College Football and Olympics. As a key member of the Integrated Marketing Communications team, the candidate will work with both internal and external resources to accomplish a broad range of communication, event and administrative tasks. The individual will be responsible for: Assisting with the execution of sponsorship programs. Projects will vary but may include:  Advertising, National and/or Local Consumer Promotions, Internal Incentive Programs, Internal Employee Communications and Compliance, Public Relations and Event/Hospitality Management Assisting with the sponsorship solicitation process to ensure all proposals are evaluated and responded to in a timely fashion Assisting with competitive market research and trend analysis Coordinating weekly and bi-weekly meetings with external partnersThe skills required are: Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously with superb focus and attention to detail Proven ability to identify and create processes and procedures that improve operational efficiencies Experience working in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment Excellent oral and written communication skills Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team Advanced ability to work effectively with others Meticulous follow through Strong knowledge and usage of computer technologies Experience Required: 1-2 years work or internship experience in sponsorship, marketing, communications or event planning. Computer Proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and Social Media Education: Undergraduate DegreeMajor preference: Marketing, Communications
