And we seek the visionary, driven individuals bold enough to chart the future with us.Associate Sales and Account Executive Seattle, WA Bring your sales expertise to the following role: Represent Regence by selling all lines of business including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability etc. Acquire new small group business for assigned territory Sell direct and/or through broker/agent Manage accounts for assigned groups Retain group business for assigned territory Work in a team environment Combine your degree and industry experience with the following skills: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 1 year direct customer service contact Currently licensed, or must become licensed within 90 days of hire, to sell insurance (health, life, and /or disability) in the state or states where business is conducted (Prior to receiving a license staff are not allowed to engage in soliciting or selling activities) Valid state driver's license with a good driving record and proof of auto insurance Computer proficiency in desktop application software including email, word processing, spreadsheets and creating presentations Excellent verbal/written presentation skills Ability to organize and prioritize to meet established deadlines Ability to plan and execute an effective sales and account management approach Strong relationship skills Ability to engage in community/networking opportunities outside of normal business hours Consistent focus on achieving or surpassing results/goals Ability to maintain an enthusiastic, fully committed and self-directed approach to work Capability to represent Regence in a positive professional manner in the marketplace Ability to establish and maintain a key account prospect list for cross selling opportunities and sales pipelineHard work and dedication is rewarded at Regence: We offer a competitive salary and a generous benefits package.For consideration, please visit our Web site at www.regence.com/careers and Apply Online to Job #16467.We are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to workforce diversity and a drug and smoke-free workplace.
