USAA is currently seeking a talented Auto Appraiser - Central Kentucky for our Central Kentucky territory. As an Auto Appraiser for USAA, you will serve as a field customer contact representative for USAA. You will provide claims service and technical expertise regarding physical damage losses. You will appraise, evaluate, negotiate and equitably settle first and third party total or repairable losses in accordance with terms and conditions of corporate guidelines, policy contracts, and existing insurance laws and regulations. Position will be working out of your home and located in the Central Kentucky area. Qualified candidates need to possess: H.S. Diploma or equivalent. Two+ years' relevant physical damage appraisal experience or 12 months as an Associate Appraiser. Working knowledge of estimating and total loss evaluation systems. Current knowledge of auto repair process. Computer literate in a Windows operating environment. Acquisition and maintenance of applicable appraisal/adjuster's license. Must meet all USAA safety driving requirements. Driving record will be verified through MVR. Ability to regularly lift 30 lbs. Preferred experience includes: Must have good communication skills, and be highly self motivated. I-Car Platinum/ASE Certification. A background in mechanical/body repair. Experience with CCC Pathways estimating system and total loss experience.
