BI DW ETL Architect/Production DBA
Requirements 6-8 years MS SQL Server DB Administration of Development, UAT, and Production environments 6-8 years with MS SQL Server: views, indices, complex queries and stored procedures. 6-8 years database design experience; hands-on experience with data marts, data warehousing (operational BI, ROLAP, MOLAP) and analytics using SSAS and SSIS 5+ years DW ETL Architecture 5+ years Data Modeling experience (Conceptual, Logical, Physical, ER, UML, Data Flow, Business Process) Must have Database Tuning Experience Should have hands-on experience working with SANs, Clusters, and Distributed Databases Good working knowledge to support SRS and .Net development (C#) Replication and DTS experience preferred. 2+ years managing technical projects Good working knowledge of Agile and/or iterative development methodologies Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) Work to be performed Own the design of data models for the Clinical Case DW subject areas based on user requirements. Own and lead the effort to design and produce the Data Mapping documentation and the Data Dictionary. Own the design, development, and deployment of the ETL processes for staging, operational data store, data warehouse and data mart environments across the development, test, and production system environments. Work with BI Team to organize and conduct Joint Application Design and Joint Application Validation sessions.
