About the Position Provides oversight of company-wide health and wellness programs Maintains administrative requirements and effectively manages vendor relationships and performance; ensures that vendors adhere to established policies,/procedures and meet contractually agreed upon service levels Acts as initial point of contact for information and education on benefit programs for the organization Manages, mentors and develops onsite benefits team of six to ensure delivery of quality administration, service and benefit communications to sites Contributes to the development, review and delivery of benefit communications Manages the implementation of new benefit programs and new sites/warehouses into the company’s health and welfare benefit programs Manages the funding, reporting, auditing and reconciliation process for the health and welfare plans, including but not limited to claims analysis, benefit trending and budgeting Manages implementation of the annual benefits enrollment process for all sites, working with cross functional HR team members to develop effective presentations and delivery to sites Maintains current, knowledgeable expertise regarding legislative and IRS changes relative to plan regulations and procedure changes to ensure compliance with benefit policies and procedures Manages operations with HRIS and vendors as needed Travel with this position is 10% Other duties as requested by managementQualifications Demonstrated ability to manage projects and establish and manage multiple priorities Effective, supervisory and leadership skills Team player, with ability to lead, manage and motivate others, utilizing strong interpersonal skills Highly organized Strong analytical and problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills  Strong computer skill set to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Education/Relevant Experience Bachelor’s degree required 7-10 years professional HR experience, with 5-7 years in benefits administration Current knowledge of relevant federal and state laws relating to employee benefits (ERISA, IRS, DOL) Experience in and affinity for a fast-paced, changing work environment
