Premium Accounting Representative Responsibilities:
• Process insured & producer payments manually or through check remittance equipment
• Enter payment information in the computer and balance payments entered
• Coordinate daily department and bank deposits as well as cash deposits to the local bank
• Handle items related to payment processing, i.e. adjustments, write-offs, NSF’s, return premium checks, commission checks, EFT account set-up, letters, account breakdowns, etc.
• Open payments on Opex equipment
• Light phone calls
• Work monthly and weekly reports
• Clerical duties such as faxing, filing and typing

What skills you need:
• Must be bilingual Spanish
• 2-3 years of related accounting experience (Accounts Receivable/Bank Reconciliation/Retail).
• Solid Bank Reconciliation experience is a plus  
• Strong work ethic, good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Document Storage experience   
• Excellent Oral and written communication skills and a team player
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Typing speed of 45 + wpm (alpha-numeric) and 10-Key
• Bilingual Spanish a plus
