Broker Assistant/Account Manager ( Health Insurance)
Busy insurance agency in Woodland Hills, California looking for a Broker Assistant/Account Manager in the (Health, Dental and Vision Insurance) department. Life and Health Insurance License required.
Duties include: experience in basic underwriting requiremnts for group and individual health, dental and vision insurance from brushing applications, to communicating with clients for missing information, to completing enrollment submission with respective carriers.
Handling customer service issues, from claims, to assisting clients with physician referrals, being a liason between member, insurance carrier, IPA or referral issues, assisting members in denied claims to appeal to carriers, processing membership changes, benefit modifications as requested by clients, assisting in prescreption problem and contacting carriers to providing eligibility membership information to physicians or memebrs.
Collaborates with Broker on processing new sales and policy renewals on a month to month basis. Excellent customer service abilities, ability to multi-task, be able to maintain excellent relationship with carriers as well as follow through with clients as part of after sales introduction to the agency.
Annual Base Salary between 31,000 and 40,000 plus bonus based on performance.
