Business Analyst - Life Insurance Business Analyst - Life Insurance Description_of_Position:Resources need to have Life Insurance knowledge, be proficient in excel. It would be nice to have MLI experience but this is not a must. Expected to have strong communication skills and ability to work with other Business analysts, users and system managers to capture requirements and check for the completeness of the requirements. The resource should be proactive and should have the ability to drive the meetings involving business users and SMEs.Business Analyst The Business Analyst is responsible for gathering, documenting, organizing, and proofing business requirements, creating a functional design (including wireframing and prototyping), and explaining the requirements to architects, data modelers, developers, and quality assurance staff. The Business Analyst is creating deliverables during Requirements and Functional Design, then answering questions and enhancing and correcting existing deliverables during Technical Design/Architecture, Construction, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing. Significant business user and client interfacing skills, and the ability to direct global staff are required.Business Analyst – Roles and Responsibilities• Define scope• Gather/document requirements• Communicate with diverse group of sponsors, stakeholders, client, and team• Identify solution• Design solution• Font-end sales• Bridge gaps between business and technology (business driven and not technology driven)• Ensure data integrity• Recommend business processes improvements• Identify the various project stakeholders • Determine stakeholder requirements • Define the business problem and/or opportunity • Gather & document User Requirements• Work with the Project Manager to ensure traceability from Requirements through to QA test cases.• Develop strategies to collect and analyze the business problem or opportunity• Improve business processes as well as software• Model and redesign processes• Develop and execute test plan• Develop Use Cases• Develop detailed requirements and functional design documents that can be referenced by global delivery staff, respond to their questions, and reconcile the functionality of their deliverables to these documents.
