Business Systems Analyst

Everest Global Services, a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd., is seeking an Business Systems Analyst in our Systems Department for our headquarters in Liberty Corner, NJ (exit 33 off I-78). This candidate will be part of a team of Business Systems Analysts that provide support to Everest's corporate business units. The individual will be responsible for performing analysis of current business functions, data, processes, and end user requirements, and for identifying and implementing solutions that meet the business needs. This will involve writing functional specifications, preparing comprehensive test plans, performing detailed application testing, and analyzing, providing resolution for, and tracking problems with end users, vendors and/or programming staff. The qualified candidate will have a college degree in information systems, computer science, or some related discipline, and 5-10 years of experience in business requirements gathering, process improvement, systems requirements definition, and development and execution of acceptance test plans. Experience working for a reinsurance or insurance company is preferable. Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills (oral & written) are essential. This individual must also have strong organizational skills and be able to work on multiple projects concurrently with minimal supervision. Project management experience would be a plus.
